Alba has a degree in Biology from the University of Santiago de Compostela and she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management and Conservation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her areas of interest are the management and conservation of ecosystem services and she is developing her MSc thesis on the role of deer herbivory in the decrease of biomass in the Mediterranean ecosystem and its relationship with fire risk.
