Aina is pursuing an MSc in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), after completing her degree in Biology at the University of Girona (UdG). Her academic interests centre on community ecology and wildlife management, with a particular focus on how human-mediated food resources influence species interactions. She has joined the Wildlife Ecology & Health (WE&H) group at UAB to conduct her MSc thesis, which investigates the use of supplementary feeding sites by vertebrate communities, especially birds and mammals beyond roe deer (Capreolus capreolus), in Mediterranean ecosystems, and evaluates the ecological implications of supplementary feeding for wildlife management.
