I am a zoologist with a broad interest on wildlife ecology and management. My research is mainly focussed on mountain ungulates and their diseases, particularly those produced by arthropod macroparasites, such as lice, bot flies and Sarcoptes scabiei. I am also working on developing non-invasive methods for population monitoring, including diagnostic. My multidisciplinary approach is finally oriented towards biodiversity conservation. The impact of hunting on ungulate population dynamics is also in my research agenda.
