Manena Fayos got a degree in Veterinary Medicine at the UAB  in 2005. In 2007 she completed an Internship in Zoo, Exotics, and Wildlife Animal Medicine at the University of Saskatoon, Canada and three years later she joined the Wildlife Centre of Cantabria, Spain as a staff member. Since then, she has combined her professional and academic activities getting a Biodiversity, Wildlife, and Ecosystem Health certification from the University of Edinburgh, UK, and later the MSc in Biology Education at the UNIR University, Spain. Manena is now pursuing a PhD in veterinary medicine with a health assessment of the Cantabrian wolf populations.
