Paloma is a biologist and a PhD student in the Biology and Ecology of Global Changes course at the University of Aveiro in Portugal in partnership with the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Doñana Biological Station in Spain. Her PhD focuses on understanding the impact of free-roaming dogs and cats on Iberian wildlife using an ecological, social, and health approach. Her main research interests are mammals ecology and conservation, the interface between domestic and wild animals, ecological interactions, and disease transmission.
