Roman took his Bachelor’s in Biology majoring in Wildlife Biology from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. He is currently taking a Master’s in Zoonoses and One Health at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. His research interests are in the fields of wildlife, disease ecology, and modelling. His MSc thesis will investigate the role of enteric pathogen co-infections in gastroenteritis outcomes among children under five. Roman is now working for the EcoHealth Alliance (https://www.ecohealthalliance.org/) in the Philippines. Congratulations Roman!
